Behind the Lens — Andrei
My name is Andrei, a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician student with a strong passion for motorsport and aviation.
Outside of school, most of my time goes into working on my own car, capturing machines through photography and learning about everything in the universe. What started as a hobby slowly became something much bigger — an obsession with showing the speed, engineering and the atmosphere arround motorsport and aviation.
My photography focuses on categories such as:
- GT racing, IMSA and WEC (F1 in the future?)
- Military aircraft, from our Royal Netherlands Air Force and Marines
- Portraits of clients and friends
One of my long-term goals is to photograph Formula 1 one day and work closer to the highest level of motorsport.
Over time, I attended car meets, automotive events and racetracks where I continued developing my photography skills and style. I work as media at the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, an experience that pushed my work to another level and motivated me to keep growing.
Right now, my goal with my photography is to show people this world, with it’s positives and negatives. While doing it in a part-time fashion, not to replace my career in aviation, but to build something of my own around the passion I genuinely love.
For me, photography is not only about taking pictures.
It is about capturing speed, emotion, engineering and moments that disappear in seconds.

What We Do
Motorsport Photography
Motorsport is a challenging subject to capture. It is fast paced; from the cars and drivers, to the editing and sharing the photos. That’s my specialty.
Portrait Photography
Photo’s of people, either alone or in groups. They share the idea, the thought and the color of the soul.
Aviation Photography
This is more of a passion-driven photography subject, cappturing the missions and challenges that said aircraft go through.
